Refund and Return Policy

Delivery commitment

Most documents are delivered by email within 2 business hours. In rare cases where the land registry is slow or a record is complex, delivery can take up to 24 hours — if that happens, we'll email you before you have to ask.

Refunds

  • If we can't locate or deliver your document, you receive a full refund.
  • Entered the wrong address? Tell us within 24 hours of ordering and we'll credit your payment toward a search on the correct address — no double charge.
  • Because documents are digital and sourced on demand, we can't refund an order once the correct document has been delivered.
  • If the registry's records differ from what you expected, that reflects the official record — we deliver it as issued. Reply to your delivery email and we'll help you understand it.

Wrong email address?

Contact support with your order number and the correct email, and we'll re-send at no cost.

Didn't receive your document?

Check your spam/junk folder first. If it's not there within the delivery window above, email info@certificateoftitle.nz with your order number and we'll sort it immediately.

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
